How We Teach

We believe how we teach is different to our tuition centres. We split our classes by ability, not by age. This is the most effective way of learning English. It promotes confidence in the child, and allows each child to scaffold the other’s learning.

Therefore, do not be alarmed if your Standard 4 child is placed in a class with Standard 6 children. It may be because your child’s level is as good as a Standard 6 student’s.

We use a variety of media including music and videos.

Placement Test

All students have to do a placement test when they register. This allows us to assess their proficiency quickly and effectively, so we can put them in the right class at the right level.

We assess all students in the four areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Teaching and Learning

We use original Oxford and Cambridge learning resources, as these are based on excellent methodologies. We have, also, a large range of local materials such as school textbooks and resources for exams like the UPSR, PMR, and MUET.

Our proven techniques include teaching according to innate abilities, sensorials, and even diagnosing basic dyslexia.

Reviews

We regularly review student work. Each student creates a portfolio of work which can be taken home at the end of each term. Alternatively, parents can request to see the portfolio of work at any time.

Talk to us

We are friendly and open. We welcome feedback, whether good or bad, because learning is a two-way street. Furthermore, the sooner we hear about any issues, the faster we can tackle them.
